Harriet Smith dreamed of a carreer as an actress in Hollywood, so she moved to L.A. But after numerous rejections she took a job as a waitress in the Pothole.
Franco was charmed by her angelic features and sweet disposition and hired her on the spot. And even though he had thought about making a pass at her, they ended up friends instead.
